Recommendation of FYP related to financial engineering

Hi,
I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineering undergraduate student.
I would like to pursue a master of financial engineering in the future.
I would like to ask any kind of final year project that will help me to build a better foundation of financial engineering?

She proposed 2 different areas of projects:
1. Stock's fundamental analysis, technical analysis, and news analysis
2. Stock price prediction using machine learning.

Any recommendation for me if i am going to take project 2?

For your information, I am fluent in Python and also have internship experience related to computer vision, clustering. Also, i have taken math courses at school such as math 1,2, engineering 1,2, and probability and statistics.
