my goal is S&T or prop shops and then try and get into a good MFE program

I see lot of confusion here. What is it that you want to do and why?
It does not look like you can just transfer to any school you want so you have to work with what you get. Learn more about your career goal and find mentors in that area who can provide more guidance than just school choice.

If i-banking is what you want to do, WSO is a more appropriate forum that focuses on that type of career.
Also, keep in mind that prop trading will be non-existent in IB due to Frank-Dodd.

No. There is no easy shortcut to trading. Either you have good connections to get you in the door or you have to pay your dues.
