Could you tell me how many scientific papers I should write to enter in the top MFE program? Is it possible to do that without any scientific papers?

I am finishing Master Degree in Applied Math and don't know should I waste my time writing the paper on Applied Math?

Are they original results? Otherwise they will not be published.

Masters' theses tend to be run-o-the-mill in the main. This does not mean that the results are not important.

Failing that why not try SSRN, (Citeseer, Euclid etc.?)
