I’m a recent IIT Kanpur CS graduate (June 2025) passionate about becoming a Quantitative Trader. Unfortunately, severe health issues forced me to abandon an internship mid-way, leaving me without experience. Post-graduation, I joined as a Data Scientist role but left due to unable to save time to prepare for quantitative role. Over the past three months, I have completed all the materials Heard on the Street, 50 Challenging Problems in Probability, Matthew M. Conroy’s dice problems, The Green Book, CoachQuant.com, and the unlocked questions from Quant Guide. While I haven’t yet explored advanced topics like the Black–Scholes model and option pricing as I am still new to this field but I believe in my practice and able to solve now 98% of the problems on any website and glass door but due to my not having any work experience I am not able to get a single interview call. All I truly need is just one interview to demonstrate my abilities . I’ve been very anxious these past few days about the uncertainty of this process, and I fear that if I don’t get a chance to move forward, I may have to set aside this dream and redirect my efforts toward preparing for government jobs.
Any little help/advice is appreciated.
Thanks!!
