Hello everyone,

I'm seeking to connect with alumni from UChicago or any other college who pursued financial engineering programs immediately after completing their undergraduate studies. Since many of us in this category have less industry experience compared to others, I'm curious about the challenges of keeping up and whether we have access to similar opportunities. Your insights would be greatly appreciated.

I think most of the students went in straight from undergrad. The outcomes tend to be fairly comparable, unless you come in with years of finance experience, then you'll earn more as you'll re-enter at a higher role. Go look at Baruch's employment reports, they outline this well. I think it's a fairly comparable situation.
