hey guys i really need your advice...
im studying in a liberal arts school now but im kinda planning to apply for some FE/MaFin programs now....
i did take some courses on econ/finance/calculus/linear algebra, but i realized that i lack facility with programming language such as c++/matlab and now im feeling so desperate......
anyway, i hope i could get some advice here.... i dont really know if i shud go on applying......
and, can u guys plz recommend some materials on programming for self-study..?
thanks...

Without programming you're going to find it very hard to survive in MFE programs. You might be able to get by in Math Fin programs if your math skills are truly excellent. If calculus and linear algebra are the most advanced classes you've taken, then they probably aren't. I'd wait one year, get the best job in finance that you can, and self-study math and programming.
