Hi,
I want to switch career to Quantitative finance side. I am currently working as a research engineer in semiconductor industry. I have a strong programming experience in MATLAB and I can efficiently code in C++. I am also planning to pursue PT MFE in Fall 2010 which I guess will take 2.5-3 years to finish. With this in mind, I don't think continuing with my current job will serve me any good in finding a Quant. Finance job. Can anyone suggest me as to how do i channelize my efforts (from now onwards) to find a job so that I can have couple of years of Quan. Finance experience once I am done with my MFE?
Thanks,
Rupesh S
