I'v just read the little text from Mark Joshi "On Becoming a Quant" and one type of job got my attention : Quant developer. Mark Joshi gives a lot of informations on what a Quant does at work and that's interresting. But I'm interrested on testimonies and sentiment from people having that kind of jobs. So I'm asking you guys, quant developers from the forum and others : can you describe your daily job ?What language do you use ? Are you only debugging programs or are you also creating new models ? What do prefere about your job ? What do you hate ?
