UCL mathematical computation

im currently doing my alevels, and ive applied to UCL, Bristol, Edinburgh and bath for math/cs. The top choice if i got it would be UCL, what do you guys think of the mathematical computation course, is this a good course to become a quant later on down the lie?

Is that a degree in itself? what does the course look like?

It is not mathematics as such, but an application of mathematics. Just sayin'
