Hmm, not really. You have to explicitly agree to install the program. It's not the same as something that installs in the background because you extracted some files out of a zip archive or something. You don't need to be an evil genius to be able to write a program that dumps malware onto a computer as long as the user agrees installing it.

Macs have always had viruses, just much much fewer than Windows. I agree Macs will become more of a target as marketshare increases.
