I was just admitted to the program and have a strong interest in attending, but I am a little worried about attending, because I feel like
the program and its alumni are not particularly visible especially in comparison to other top rated programs on Quantnet like Baruch, CMU, UChicago, NC State, GTech etc. Does anyone have any information or thoughts on the alumni network at Cornell? Have many alumni reached any senior positions at hedge funds / banks? Are most of their alumni working in the US? How does Cornell's M.Eng alumni compare to the programs I mentioned?

Obviously, I will ask these questions of Cornell directly, but I thought some of your perspectives could also be helpful! Thank you!

I didn’t apply, but i think cornell seems “quiet” on this forum because it’s cohort sizes are about half of many other top ten programs, save for a few. There’s also something about this forum where a couple programs seem to get discussed more often than others for whatever reason. I would be shocked if the alumni network was significantly different from the nyu/columbia programs.
