Dear Community,

I was wondering today when the application cycle of some of the prominent MathFin/MFE programs for classes entering Fall 2013 will begin? (Columbia MAFN/MFE, Stanford FinMath, Princeton MFin, MIT MFin, NYU MathFin)

Is it safe to say that by September 2012, most of the programs will have their on-line application up and running? I am especially concerned with the upper 15 (quantnet-ranked) programs, excluding programs like UC Berkeley which have a famously odd timeframe of themself.

Are there any well-known programs whose online-application system for next year is already up and running?

Yours Sincerely,

hammingbird

PS: Own background - 24 years old, German Math PhD candidate (exp. 02/2013), Q: 167 V: 161 AWA: 5.5 - TOEFL: 117. Heavy coding background (work in computational math, combinatorial optimization). Planning to apply for MathFin/MFE programs this fall (2012) to enter in fall 2013. No financial work experience so far (will apply for internship before start of program).
