Columbia MFE 2012 Columbia MFE admission thread

Thats whats troubling me . I havent got an interview invite nor do I have a rejection. Its seems the interview process is almost complete. Are there any more interview invites left to be sent out or will I wake up a morning and find a dreadful rejection mail waiting for me :(

It is almost official that all those who haven't got invitations till now are rejected as I got a reply from Adina and she said that it is likely that all those not selected might be asked for MSOR if their profile is interesting

Yes I read that and I am willing to ignore it (too much optimism I guess)

same here. :(

Certainly not a sure thing. People got interviewed last year but later offered the MSOR admission.
We should see a lot more MSOR redirect shows up on our Tracker shortly.
The interviewer told me that the admission rate this year is going to be 15%. Given that there were 100+ admissions last year, guess there are 666+ applicants this year?

I got another email from columbia today with 3 numbers to call tmr.......I guess this means "last chance".

Those who called today, any new info on when decisions will be made?

Got another phone call yesterday afternoon, asking in very specific terms about my level of interest, e.g. where are you gonna live in NYC?
