Hi, I just finished first year and my concentration is in Math/Statistics/CS. I was wondering which year marks are the most important for admission for most of the MFE schools since I know that you apply in the autumn of your fourth year, are 1st, 2nd and 3rd year courses the most important? That is, do admission committee look at the first half of fourth year?
Because if this is the case, is it prudent to delay some courses like topology, abstract algebra until 4th year and instead get time series, stochastic process done first?
