Advice on Quant programs

Hi ,
I will be applying for MFE for fall 2012 , Here is my brief profile

Revised GRE Score : Quant 161 / Verbal 157 AWA 4.0

Masters in Economics and Bachelors in Engineering from BITS - Pilani , India with a GPA of 7.98/10

Good grades in Eco courses , academic project in Econometrics , 2 years of work ex in oracle out of which 1 years was in developing a software for Enterprise Risk Management .

These are the Univs that I am applying for

Columbia
Michigan
Rutgers
Gatech
Cornell
Baruch
NYU

Can any one please suggest if I can make in to any of these with my profile ,
I want to get in to Risk Management post my MFE .

Without full application, I can only say that your scores are not competitive. Several people have taken the new GRE and received 170Q so it's advisable to retake it.

Hi Andy ,
Thanks for your advice , I will have to think about it as the time is running out for deadlines .
What other information do you need to predict my chances ?
I have a few certification from National Stock Exchange in India ,
I have got good recommendation from two eco profs and one maths prof .
Also please point me to any good resources on Financial Risk Management .
