hello ,

Currently I m working as an android developer(Java) and have 2 year of experience. Also I have very keen interest in Mathematics from my school. I want to be an quant developer(java), but totally confused how to approach towards quant industry.

I want your suggestion /help :

1. Is there any certification`s I should do or any other distance learning programs.
2.Risk factor.
3.How I can utilize my experience .

Please suggest.....

Thank you very much in advance

hi, i was an android developer in the finance industry and working towards a masters. you can choose a masters/phd in stats, mathematics, computer science. get a feel of mathlab and c++. then get an internship first and then proceed to be a quant after graduation. that's my plan. good luck.

Thank you... keith 4 ur response and wishes..:)

Also, what do you think about CQF, is this certification beneficial for experienced candidate.......especially for me since I was developing mobile enterprise applications.

Might be just me but Android programming has very little relevance to quant programming.
