Hi just out of curiosity what is the probability of being admitted in Baruch when u get a interview call

Better than the probability of getting admitted
when You don't get an interview call :)
when i dont get an interview call.. that's zero.. but if i do get one.. what's it ? 0.5, more or less...

I would not say that probability is zero if you don't get an interview call...

I don't think this metric is helpful. If you do very well in the interview, then your chance is good. If not, then even if the statistic is 95%, you aren't going to be accepted.

guys just asking for an estiamte.. have an interview in 5 min.. :)

All I can say is All the best... May the force be with you..

Shouldn't you try to estimate ( \int e^x ) instead? ;)
Goodluck.
Hi andy one doubt.. they called me at 12:07 pm NY and I cudn't hear anything from them.. seems to be a bad line.. the interview is supposed to be at 12:30 Pm. they l call again rite?

At this rate Baruch would admit 1 student in million years.
guys done with my interview... cud answer all calculus questions and linear algebra but din't do well in probability ( forgot the probability densities definitions.. ) I think I screwed it.. :( ( rusty memory)

This is the basis of misuse of many statistical 'studies'... The metric is helpful, just not to him as an individual.

Remember that the interview not only measures your math knowledge, but also your ability to communicate in English. A candidate could be a technical/quant wizard, but if he/she can't carry on a conversation in English, it might be very difficult getting through the program and interviewing successfully for jobs in the US.

Me too done with my interview, I am waiting for the result :)

I was told that if I cleared this round , I would have another round of interview by the Director of the Program himself. I am wondering whether this second round of inteview would be technical or behavioural (or a combination of both :)) ?

Prof rados ( guy who interviewed me) told me they meet once a week and then decide on the outcome and if the director is interested he wud be calling you to take one more round.. that l be more kinda you asking the director questions rather than he asking u ( that's what Prof rados said.. he's also not quite sure )..
