C++ Online Programming Course Testimonials

As someone trying break into MFE programs from investment banking, I had limited cs classes (1) in undergrad. I learned from various connections that this course is highly regarded in the world of quant finance, and after finishing I feel so much more confident about programming. This course is very dense in content (especially for people new to programming) and requires time to really do researches on your own (espeically for Level 9) but the teaching is great. Also I received great instructions from TA and the forums. I would strongly recommend for anyone interested in quant finance, regardless of piror programming experience:)

The course was wholesome more than it was comprehensive. It was as close to the real world as possible I felt, where we are given the basic tools and trying to figure out a way through to find the most robust solutions.
Specially for someone new to Programming or C++, it will give an idea about how to traverse through forums, do your own research and get the best solutions possible. There is no spoon feeding and yet the course manages to cover the important topics of C++ and implement them successfully.
The course can have maybe more financial engineering aspects. However, it is difficult to draw a line between mathes and programming which is understandable when it comes to Monte Carlo or Finite Differences, but a level or two deep diving into the codes of the same might help.
The time which is spent on the Excel part of the course can be dedicated to the Financial Engineering aspect maybe if the former is made smoother.

A very special thanks to the lords of C++ @Daniel Duffy , @APalley and @Paul Lopez who throughout the course have been at their feet with assisting us mere humans. They make Quantnet truly comprehensive.
