Hi.
My purpose is to take a phd in physics, and after few years as researcher to become a Quant.

What phd is better for this purpose: computational, theoretical, statistical or mathematical physics?

I don't want to do physics to become a quant.
I want to do the researcher in physics for some years, for personal interest, and after some years (3-4) to switch to quantitative finance.

Where do you want to do these wonderful subjects on Wiki?

The links is for who doesn't know what exactly are these subjects.

I am in Italy, so I will do them here, probably.

I am not sure,
I am thinking about this topic.
Maybe Padova, or Napoli, or Trieste, or Bologna.

I don't think the city/university is so important.
These universities are all good.

I studied analisi numerica a Pavia which I found very good.
