Hi, I'm in last year of highschool and might be interested in becoming a quant / quant dev.
Now, in my country there's this program I can choose at a university that will lead to a Bachelor of econometrics and logistics research in quantitative finance.
After that I can choose to do the Master of that, with the same specialisation.
It seems to be the same as a Master of quantitative finance.
What I wanted to ask is what the difference is between a MQF degree and MFE.
And how that will impact employment.
Also, a lot of quant jobs seem to be asking for a PhD ( in physics/ other "hard sciences"), how is this more advantageous than a MFE?
