Agreed on what you said about the different methodologies programs use to calculate the employment rate. For example, Columbia is no match for CMU/Berkeley/Baruch in terms of employment rate, yet the reported numbers tell an opposite story.

I wish this problem could be addressed in future rankings. Otherwise, it can be misleading, especially for top students trying to decide among these tier 1 programs.
 
i had a job offer before graduation but didnt respond to survey. in fact i never respond to those type of surveys. should i be counted as unemployed instead?

Where are you getting this information?Literally everyone I've spoke to at the Columbia program has found a full time position prior to graduation.
