Hi all

Berkeley MFE has a estimated tuition cost of $85k out of which around $30k is on living expense.

It would be great if someone can inform how much a bank will lend as loan to an international student with no co-signer in the US. Also what would typically be the interest rate and EMI for the same ?

I am from India and never been to USA and plan to apply for MFE with definite target on Berkeley.

Thanks
Partha

It's pretty hard to get a student loan now days even for American citizens with good credit. For international student with no co-signer it's close to impossible. The best option for you is to look for loan in your country.

Financing MFE

Hi Papa..., Did you try this link for student loan? Did it work?

@Andy, thanks for the insight. I didn't know it was possble to get a loan without a co-signer. I've been begging and looking for a co-signer for the past three months all to no-avail. Well, I tried the link it says I need to send in a paper application. This is kinda hard for me because of the distance and time left for to start my program. Please are there other nternational student loans without a co-signer I can apply online?
