Gaming College Ranking

I wonder how endemic this is. I find it hard to believe only one school has done this.
 
How would magazines check data submitted? It would take too much manpower to do so. Stuff like employment statistics, anyone can make them up. After I graduated college, my college never contacted me about employment data.
 
Also, some law schools have been known to recruit students by awarding them "merit scholarships" which they can retain only if they maintain a specified grade point average -- without informing them that the school's rigid grading curve ensures that many such students will lose their scholarship after the first year, forcing them to pay full tuition for the remainder of their education.
