Hello, The status on my portal changed to Department review today. Does anyone know what happens after this or how long does it take to turn into decided?

Same for me. Does anyone have an idea? Those who are admitted?

Same here. I don't think it's a sign for the decision tho. I found a post on Reddit and many applicants for other programs or PhD applicants had the same change. Maybe it's just they think "department review" is a better description for this status than "awaiting decision".
I saw someone had the status change to "decided" before they received a decision.

Hello everyone! I wonder how many people are still waiting for a decision or have been accepted/rejected since the application status on the portal changed in late February.

Did everyone got the mail from NCSU regarding the 'Your NC State ID Number'. Is there any significance of this mail?

Everyone gets it, it's basically your Application ID incase you have any questions/queries regarding your application

Applied to this program on February 1st. Got an offer yesterday.
I applied from New Jersey with a BS in Applied Stats from NJIT.
GPA was 3.68. No GRE.
