Hi, I am planning to apply for an MS in FE for fall 2010. I am already late in applications and deadlines of many colleges have passed out. I want to apply for this fall 2010 only. Wanted to have some information about following colleges:
1) Illinois institue of technology, chicago
2) Stevens institute of technology, NJ
2) NYU-Poly.

How is the course for MS in FE at these univs? How is the placement scenario in them? and what are the job prospects after doing an MS in FE from one of these universities? if any other info, then request to all to share with me. Please help.

Thanks Joy for your quick response. Yes i had not done much of a research for these univs. Links you provided were very helpful and now I am able to think a step ahead.
I have done my undergrad in computers. Then worked for like over 3 and half years in a technical background. But I want to pursue a masters in FE. But i think my math and analytic skils are ok enough. So I am kind of new to finance. But i think i will be able to cope up. is there anything basic that i could start and which will help me in my masters (that is if i get an admit)?
Need some help on this as well.

Do you mean some basics to start learning? Once again, a few searches doesn't hurt anyone. You can't expect handouts always.
