If you don't mind me asking, when was your application completed? As in, when was the last part of your application received? There was a delay in my transcripts being received, wondering if that is an issue...

I was placed on the waitlist on 20th January.

I submitted the application on the deadline day but also had some delay in my transcripts being received. They were finally added to my application on January 6th I believe. Hope this helps.

Same here delay in transcripts and no decision yet. But according to application tracker few people updated it as declined for nyu mfe 2021

I submitted the application on the deadline day but also had some delay in my transcripts being received. They were finally added to my application on January 6th I believe. Hope this helps.

Thanks, yeah that's helpful. My checklist says everything has been received so guess it's just a waiting game now.

I haven't yet. Yeah I would think they release it in batches based on the info on the tracker..

congratulations, when was your application marked as complete with all transcripts. Just noticed in risk net that 120 fall 2020 nyu applicants deferred their admit to fall 21

I finished it probably on the last day before the deadline. Then I didnt hear anything from them until the decision came. Good luck to you guys!

Hi all,

I am an applicant for the NYU MFE program. I submitted my application on Nov 29, 2020, but still waiting for the final decision. Does anyone have a similar situation? I contacted Tandon admission but the officer told me that they have no idea when the decision will be made. So I was wondering if my application was missing or the application was placed into the round 2 batches?

I’m also waiting for this one. I submitted in mid January but my checklist wasn’t complete until early February. So I guess I still need to wait for some time.

Same here, I submitted the application on 1st dec. Still waiting for their decision, I have not been waitlisted for round 2 but as NYU only has around 90 odd seats to fill up, I don't think round 2 is really necessary. Mostly it is a reject.
