Pre-Mfe courses at Baruch applicable to other colleges?

Almost surely. If you look under MSCF Prep here Curriculum - Master of Science in Computational Finance - Carnegie Mellon University , you'll notice similar courses. If they are relevant for CMU, I think that gives a good idea of their relevance for other programs. To me, it seems the Pre-MFE courses (advanced calc, probability, NLA) serve as a great refresher/survey of undergraduate math while simultaneously weaving in applications to finance. If you can afford them, I think they would serve you well regardless of what program you end up deciding to go to.

disclaimer: I have not taken any of the 3 Pre-MFE courses I mentioned above

To add to this if you take all the courses and do well your pretty much a shoe in for the Baruch mfe program. Personally I didn’t like the program, but it is very cheap so maybe worth it.
