Yes, I believe someone received it at about the same time.

Well now I can be sure that they only sent an unofficial cong letter to admitted applicants. So for those who have not received any result they are rejected.

Speaking to an applicant from last year tells me that you indeed receive a rejection mail if you are not in.

Bad news, the ratio is about right. 5 accepts out of 17 participants in this thread. That's about 30 in 100.

Assumes the sample isn't biased though.
