Hi all,

Hope below questions will not affend any of you~~

I have questions about internship(not final job).
- method of obtaining internship: website application / networking, send resume to targetd friends?
- type of internship regarding your previous background (company, position)
- when do u start looking for internship?
- How long is the internship period?
- (if possible) % of retaining the position for final job?

These questions may be a little tough. :D I'm just curious about it. Sincerely hope as many as alumni could post your ideas. :smt100
Millions THANKS~~~

Best Regards
Erica

Hi, try my best to give answers to your questions...since I am in the course of looking for internship now:

---website of your targeted companies, school career development center, other recruitinng wensites, and to me, networking is also one important source of intern info.
---for type of intern, the ideal is surely IB sector, quantitative group.
---after you survive the first semester...otherwise it's really hard to get a good one with poor GPA
---usually, it's last the whole summer. Since you are international student, it's illegal for you to work outside campus, even for summer intern, you should have get permission for CPT;
---the probability of turning into full-time position all denpends on your personal performamce and the opportunity of the company, if it happens to have openning, and your performance is excellent enough to impress them...and they are willing to sponsor your immigrant status to work legally...

All at all, try to do your best.

Thanks Yan He :) good luck for u
Any graduates would like to pour ideas? expecting~~
