Am really interested in these Pre-MFE On-site seminiars in Spring 2021 and wondering if there's any plan (including online option given COVID situation) so I can plan accordingly?
The Pre-MFE seminars will be offered online in the 2020-2021 academic year. Details are being worked out, and will be announced on Quantnet once decided. It should be interesting, given that NY physical location will no longer be required.

@dstefan Certificate of Completion of the Pre-MFE Program with Distinction is for only those 3 on site seminars or 3 out of the 6 out of all seminars? I am currently a C++ student and would want to see if certificate of Completion of the Pre-MFE program
Each seminar offers a Certificate of Completion with Distinction if completed with a total score of 90 or higher. There is no specific certifcate for completing all three (formerly) on-site seminars.

@dstefan I plan to take all of the three pre MFE seminars. I see that there's also an option primer online course on quantnet. Are there some overlaps between the two? If having completed all of three pre MFE seminars it is still necessary to attend the option primer course?

Well there are technically 6 seminars if you include online courses.

Can I ask about next year' plan for the pre-MFE seminars? NLA is only offered in the Spring. Will it be offered online next Spring? I am an international student and am not physically in New York now. The online option is very convenient for me and I want to plan accordingly. Thank you!

WE just posted the announcement for the Fall 2020 - Spring 2021 Pre-MFE seminars at

All seminars in the Fall will be online, and very likely in the Spring as well. Even if the Spring seminars will be on-site, we will have the remote option as well, so you could take the seminars online. That said it is very likely the Spring seminars will be online as well.
