The future of quant trading looks very bright, with advancements in technology, increased demand, competition, and expansion of data sources driving the growth of this field. In short, you better have really good C++/Python skills and some training of data science, big data to be able to compete in the near future.
  • Advancement in technology: The advent of big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence has significantly increased the efficiency and accuracy of quant trading. These advancements are expected to continue, further improving the performance of quant trading.
  • Increased demand: As the world becomes more data-driven, the demand for quant trading and finance experts is also on the rise. More and more financial institutions are recognizing the importance of quantitative methods and are investing heavily in this area.
  • Increased competition: With the increasing popularity of quant trading, the competition in this field is also becoming intense. This is leading to the development of new and innovative techniques and tools, making the quant trading and finance field even more exciting.
