Good problem for multithreading programming

Hi everyone,

I plan to work as a C++ developer under unix environment.
I would like to get experience in multithreading . I have good theoretical knowledge about the subject but a few experience.
I'm searching a good problem to solve. I was doing some things like matrix multiplication but it is very primitive.
Could anyone advice a complicated task on multithreading close to what developers doing developing HF trading systems?
maybe thre are some good books with problems?

You could cut your teeth by programming these problems

Having a look at OpenMP.com is a good way to lean some design techniques as well.

Once you learn these basics then it is possible to move onto bigger problems.


And looking at PPL, TBB libraries might be useful.
