Imperial College London - MSc Mathematics and Finance

Imperial MathFin Imperial - MSc Mathematics and Finance Admission Discussion

It's a rolling deadline but admissions usually close by April so you should ideally apply before February.

Thanks! I submitted my application with all reference letters by January 29. I hope that wasnt too late.
Don't worry, I submitted around the same time as you in 2023. I think I heard back by 9th of March or around that with an offer.

I have been told by Imperial that i have been placed on their waitlist for the MSc Mathematics and Finance. I was wondering if anyone at all has any experience of the Imperial waitlist, and what my chances are for getting an offer? Any advice/information in general would be hugely helpful, thanks.

Same, it seems they can wait up until August to give a decision though unfortunately

I was placed on the waiting list as well. They have withdrawn my second application for some reason. I had applied to the part time Maths and Finance course at Imperial as my second choice. Anyone know why they might've withdrawn my application? There were no problems with my references and the docs submitted I have checked.

Best bet would be to email them, but my guess would be that maybe because you applied to the same courses (just different time lengths) so you are only eligible for one.

Which other courses/unis have you applied to btw and have you heard back from them? I am still waiting to hear back from the oxford MCF course.

Only Oxford and UCL so far, not heard anything back from them. You heard anything back from any others?

I have received conditional offers from UCL and Warwick, but I haven't applied to Oxford

Hey everyone, I got an offer for the Math FIN program at Imperial. How good is it really? In terms of prestige and recognition.
In terms, of employment, is it possible to become a trader a bank after?

i've applied to oxford and imperial. haven't heard anything yet. have you heard anything back from the waitlist?
