I have been accepted for CMU MSCF at Pittsburgh but without any scholarship. I need some guidance from the Indian students who can help me with ideas to finance the education. The expenditure at CMU as you all know is very high to afford for an Indian student without any scholarship.

Please help with ideas....

why only indian students? Isn't the advice of other international students good enough?

indian students can help him better. they can tell him which indian banks give loan to do masters in the US, how much in indian currency is needed for living expenses etc.

@ alain and Marko

sorry guys if I sounded wrong with my words. I didn't meant anything like that. Just that the Indian students will have more idea of the co-signer and collateral things involved, along with some info exclusively on the good Indian banks. Anyone's suggestion regarding this is welcome. I am just a little tensed due to it.

Also, I couldn't make it to Baruch. I was interviewed but denied admission.

I tried contacting the current students at CMU through Linked In, but no response from any of them yet. So I thought of trying here.

Thanks Vivek and Elliot. I am trying through the sources you mentioned.

Joke mate. You don't have to care so much on forum comments. You need to use your intelligence to get the best out of your goals and then move forward. Nasty comment won't hurt your pocket either way.

Has anyone from India taken a loan from Credila? I read that they loan out around 40 lakhs, is this true?
