I don't have numbers for 2014 but in 2013, they admitted 175 students. They probably interviewed a lot of people. 400+ is a reasonable guess.

it seems that MIT is working on Canadian students and possibly South American students.
i have not heard anyone outside of Canada has received invites for the past few days.

For people interviewing in Cambridge, how is the snow situation? Has anyone faced a rescheduled interview due to school closure on snow days? How was transportation? Was walking feasible or did you practically have to swim there?
