Does anyone know whether firms are willing to hire people through the O-1 visa?
Also, how good are the chances for the visa to go through, if my academic background, including all the 'national or international recognition' (such as publications), is in physics?
Based on people with a similar publication record, I estimate that my physics background qualifies for O-1, _if_ I applied for a job in physical sciences. But obviously not all of those achievements translate to a quant job.
