Recommended Theories to read up on?

Hi everyone, can anyone recommend some mathematical finance theories to read up on? I've heard that stochastic volatility models, the volatility surface, and jump processes are relevant these days. Can anyone recommend anything else that's important? I know black-scholes is important, but I'm hesitant because I hear that overall its based on flawed assumptions. Thanks!
