Here's a little about me:
I'm currently a senior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Actuarial Science. I will graduate in December 2009. I'm projected to have a 3.85 GPA at graduation. I have 4 actuarial exams. I worked for a summer at a health insurance company as an actuarial intern. Also, I have worked part time during my career career as a mathematics tutor.
So, there's a little about my background. I want to pursue a career as a QUANT, but I have no idea what to do next. Where are the best graduate programs located? How do you get accepted? What do the admissions people look for in potential candidates? Do you have to take the GMAT or GRE? How many years do you typically spend in a graduate program? What is a typical starting salary?
