Can somebody explain what structured finance is? Is it same as investment banking?
Are there opportunities for people with quant degrees to work there or they are looking for some other background?
 
It's like creating new financial products depending on each client s financing needs. It involves a lot of departments such as legal, marketing and trading. It's like trying to solve new optimization problem depending on each client....
