You can filter the results on Tracker. Select GaTech and Accepted as result. It does show any admit got any scholarship. This is a pretty accurate way to see if a program gives scholarship and how much.

I've seen some short clips with Ed posted by CMU before. Communication skill is way underrated. I know some people in finance getting promoted with their communication skills where others with superior technical skills got passed over.

For those needing to get their programming skill refreshed for interview and ready to contribute on day one, I highly recommend the Quantnet C++ courses and Python course. They are time tested and I haven’t seen anything come close to their quality and ROI.

Just learned that LSE has the MSc Quantitative-Methods-for-Risk-Management program run by the Stats dept. Their other older program at LSE is MSc Financial Mathematics run by the Math Dept. Anyone applied to either one this cycle?

This kind of programs is not going to be small. They may target 100 students, maybe more. How much resource will they have available for it is something we dont know yet. Something to keep in mind and find out.

Which is why MAFN program has an option for you to do the program in 3 semesters instead of 2. The extra semester is extremely important for international students to stay current with their visa longer while they search for internship/job.

Get a job as a developer at bank or a hedge fund then use it to move closer to the role you want. Plenty of people use their C++ or Python skills to make this transaction. The master degree in CS may or may not help with the transaction depending on it really provides anything relevant.

Last year acceptance emails came out in mid Feb. Rejection emails came out much later (April/May). Average for acceptance is 60 days and average time for rejection is 110 days. Average time for all applications is 83 days. If you haven't waited that long, no need to panic.

We still have a dozen people with Pending status in this year cycle according to the Tracker. Let's go and get those Pending turn into Accepted :)

That exactly is the plan, Mike. I know Chicago has scholarships but didn't know the range of aids they offer. I put this up from some info gleamed on their website and some sparse reports here and there...

Yeah, the objective for me to add those is to find out which programs offer scholarships and how much. They don't seem to publicly share these but these are very important factors for applicants to know.

You are not the only one who got confused. Turned out there are lot of people who mistakenly entered the date for the decision before the submitted date. For example, submitted Nov 2020, decision Feb 2020 instead of Feb 2021. We have to batch updated them. Also, we added a Financial Aid field so...

Second this. I just went through the Tracker and filter the listing by results. It appears admits get a quicker result than rejects. On average, it takes 94 days from submission to result.
