I would go with Columbia. The prestige it gives u is far superior. If you are determined enough you will find a good job with both I guess, but how many times in your life you get an offer from Columbia? This is just my personal opinion.

Still I believe if you are really good at what you do (in this case quant stuff) they you will be wanted no matter what. So I believe you should concentrate on being the best in what you do, not on how many people are going to do it as well.

The programs are at different schools, unless you specified Math Fin as your second choice I think it would be impossible. I haven't researched the programs thoroughly but I guess Math Fin is more theoretical. RMFE seems to be a very good option. Good Luck.

I am doing my Senior Theses (Mathematics&Economics) and I am using LaTeX. From my own research it is still widely used for most scientific papers. And it is free. Some journals have also templates for LaTeX that you can download and use.

But you can see who are FE or not. About the # of accepted and the # of people who actually accept the offer - you are right ;)

I talked to them about the tracker but no result. Here you can see the profiles of the Cornell students: http://www.orie.cornell.edu/orie/academics/meng/our-students.cfm and it seems that they accept 40/50 people.

I know of 3 Acceptance cases that are not in the Tracker. I don't know how much this helps or if they sent all the acceptance letters. Good Luck.
