I actually would love to join YouTwitFace if it's the only place we ever use to network and keep friends updated.
In reality, the number of such sites will grow and hence our digital online life would get more complicated.
Just for good measure, I have created a twitter account for Quantnet (http://www.twitter.com/quantnet) and used twitterfeed to show the RSS feed in my account so if anyone following @quantnet will get all the latest post from Quantnet.
Pretty neat.
I had just added you/the group on facebook, Didn't expect to see quantnet on there but it was nice to see. As for twitter I think it's all a media hype. lol
If you are a business or a celebrity, twitter makes sense. If you are John Doe, you won't make friends or have followers there.
Read somewhere that a large amount of twits are generated by a very small percentage of members. The rest is in the digital void.
Just to mention how social networking websites have changed our lives. I read a status update on "FACEBOOK" referring "TWITTER" with a new face to age old maxim
"Those whose house is made up of glass should not even tweet about stones"
