Will there be a grade or will it just be pass/fail?
pass/fail
Wow! Are you sure?
It will be most likely on a Pass/Fail basis.
That's what Andy said (if I'm not mistaking).
In the US, grades are normally provided only to credit-bearing courses so that they can be calculated into GPA. Since this course does not provide credit, it will be on a Pass/Fail basis. Since Baruch MFE provides the certificate, it's likely that they can come up with a grading to differentiate those that done extremely well in the course. Here is the info on how they grant certificates for similar courses they have.
Certifications:
For each seminar, a Certificate of Completion will be issued upon passing the final exam and obtaining a 70% or higher average.
For each seminar, a Certificate of Completion with Distinction will be awarded to students with a 90% or higher average.
Yes, it's going to happen. All partners have formally signed on months ago.Hi Andy,
Is this program 100% going to happen? Not that I doubt your seriousness, but if it's not set in stone just yet I would like to come up with a backup plan.

It's now ongoing works behind the scene to set up the infrastructure and line up contents for the opening day.
I'm just as excited as you because I will take the course as well
