NYC Drinks - QuantNet meet up?

I'm in NYC and would be down, but not July 4th weekend...how about the week after?

Yeah I didn't realise it was July 4th weekend. I will actually be in Canada then.

Let's do the weekend after. Friday night or Sat night You guys can pick.

how about Friday the 8th? I can pop by after work, say around 6:30PM? Where? we need great beer!

Either works for me :)
I work in Soho - I could do Soho, Noho, Chinatown, Westside or Eastside. Put your vote in!

Honestly I like Malaysian food, but we should probably stick to just drinks for the sake of conversation, no?

July 8th. Let's do something near Grand Central. It will be easier for people commuting in, people working mid-town banks(barcap,MS,JPM,etc), etc.

the Campbell Apartment one sounds kind of cool! Good find!

Oh well... looks like I'll be drinking alone again ;)!

Next time let's do a Thurs or Sun night!

Campbell Apartment by Grand Central is very nice. http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-campbell-apartment-new-york It's a very common place for banking people. It's a classic place. Very unique.

Or Pershing Square right opposite GCT

Campbell Apt. sounds like quite an experience. Yeah, it out seems some people get refused entrance for not fitting a dress code. How does this work Joy?

Else, my other vote goes to Sushi Yasuda. "Best Sushi in Manhattan"?? We shall see... http://www.yelp.com/biz/sushi-yasuda-new-york

oh wait Sushi Yasuda doesn't do booze, scratch that!

CA is business casual for sure. It is definitely a unique experience.

If you wanna do something casual I think Pershing Square would be better or other alternatives. I think some Irish bar nearby would be good also.
