I just post random question for fun talk.

I play intensive soccer and love playing tennis.
Drink Samuel Adams every night.

I'm curious about the the off-work activities of the genius quants.
Hope you guys share some.

I play tennis. Know lot of people play poker.
Once you start working, there is little time for regular outside activities. I do know lot of people who have other interest like volunteering during the weekend, cooking, running, etc.
There are lot of activities in NYC. Too much going on, too little time.
There is no "quant exclusive" drinks. Most do drink socially (and responsibly I hope) ;)

I play some pickup basketball and football on the weekends. Other than that, I run and lift weights.

For drinks, I don't care much for beer, but I do love a good dirty martini. And when I say martini, I mean a real martini, i.e gin, not vodka.

I play intensive soccer too and love playing table tennis. Fortunately or unfortunately I don't drink. I watch a lot of soccer when I have the time. Well, I am not a quant either but I am on my way to becoming a genius. ;). For most of my time I am offshore researching for oil and gas.

I am not in a bank, so strictly not a quant.

I used to do all kinds of sports, but now I focus on judo and jiu jitsu.

Have become a big tea drinker (Lyons Green Label :))

Karate and Kick Boxing. I drink Victoria (mexican beer). Black coffee (no sugar no cream) in the mornings.

I'd like to add that I also partake in competitive sleeping on the weekends.
