Very good talk as an introduction to ocaml. Definitely listen around minute 37 and 59 for interesting discussion of features (you may have to go back a little -- this person summarized them in the comments ). Or watch the whole thing.

I like how I was doing the horrible boilerplating in my C++ code right when he said "you really shouldn't be using the language if you have to do boilerplating".
